Accessibility
We welcome the opportunity to assist guests with disabilities to enjoy the Miramar Cultural Center / ArtsPark facilities, programs, and services. For assistance and information on accessibility, Theater Management encourages patrons to contact the Box Office for accommodations at 954-602-4500, prompt 1.
Accessing the Theater
Accessibility signs have been placed throughout the Miramar Cultural Center / ArtsPark. Vehicles can enter the flat parking lot across from the center and handicap parking facilities have specially marked and reserved parking spaces. The wheelchair accessible ramp is located across from the flat parking lot in front of the box office. There is a public elevator in the west side of the lobby and accesses both the orchestra and balcony level. Although animals are not allowed in the facility, an exception is made regarding service animals for the disabled.
Accessible Seating
Accessible seating is available at all ticket prices. Tickets for accessible seating are held and sold as a last resort if not needed for people with disabilities. Orchestra seats W2-W10, D2-D12, D3-D11 and balcony seats FF2-FF10 and FF1-FF9 have been allocated as accessible seating for patrons in wheelchairs and their companions. Seats W6, D8, D7, FF6, and FF5 have been permanently removed to accommodate for wheelchair accessibility seating. If the show comes to a sold out status, all wheel chair locations (excluding row W2-W10) will be placed back into the theater and on sale to the general public. Please alert the box office before purchasing tickets about any mobility issues so they can best help find suitable seats.
Hearing Devices
The theater is equipped with an infrared assisted listening system. Headsets are provided to patrons on a first come, first served basis at no cost to the user. A driver's license, credit card or cash deposit are requested to guarantee return of the equipment and are given out at the Box Office. American Sign Language interpretation for the deaf or hard of hearing can be arranged on request within a reasonable time frame.
