PADI Course - Learn to Dive
Learn to Dive

Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds - a chance for kids at least 8-years of age to blow bubbles by scuba diving.

Children will receive a basic introduction to scuba while using scuba diving equipment underwater-breathing and swimming in shallow water that is less than 6-feet (2 meters) deep.

Plan a kid party, or celebrate a birthday by throwing a memorable, exciting Bubblemaker event with friends & family at the Miramar Regional Park Aquatic Complex.

Cost: Resident - $150 / Non-Resident - $180

Discover Scuba is a quick & easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

If you have a swimsuit and a towel, you can find yourself swimming weightless underwater, in the safe and shallow confines of a pool, while receiving an introduction to some of the fundamental skills of scuba diving.

Although this is not a scuba certification course, students will learn all the required steps to be a PADI-certified diver, while having a blast under the water.

Cost: Resident - $150 / Non-Resident - $180

PADI scuba diving certifications are the most well-known and respected in the world, opening the world's oceans, rivers, and lakes for exploration and adventure.

Children as young as 10 can earn a diver certification and begin to explore the oceans. Divers who are 10 to 15 years of age can become Junior Open Water Divers.

State-of-the-art teaching techniques and tools are included in the course curriculum, in order to ensure that the content is up to date and exciting.

Cost: Resident - $359 / Non-Resident - $431

Cost includes pool sessions. Certification divers are a separate cost and require students to enroll.
